Notes:
1. At least three paper sources are provided: Tractor,
Manual, and Lower Tray.
Use Tractor with fanfold paper. The paper loading
feature of the printer creates a top margin.
Use Manual when you are using the single sheet
paper loading method. The paper loading feature of
the printer creates a top and a bottom margin.
Lower Tray does not allocate a top or bottom margin
and can be used in two ways:
1)when you are manually adjusting the top of form
so no top margin is needed,
2)when you are using the pull tractor method (not
available on all printers). See your printer's
user's guide for instructions on using the pull
tractor method.
2. The printer supports color printing. If you are
using the standard black ribbon, run Windows
Control Panel Printer Setup Options to deselect the
color option.
3. The printer driver supports a different emulation
than the factory default emulation. The emulation
you must use is shown in brackets next to the
printer's name. See your printer's user's guide for
instructions on changing the printer's emulation.
4. The printer supports a cut sheet feeder to
automatically load single sheets of paper. See your
printer's user's guide and cut sheet feeder's
user's guide for installation instructions.
To enable the printer driver to use the sheet
feeder, run Windows Control Panel Printer Setup to
select the Auto Sheet Feeder paper source.
5. Three paper sources are provided: Manual, Upper
Tray, and Lower Tray. The sheet feeder provided
with the printer can be used with the Manual or
Upper Tray paper sources. An optional second sheet
feeder is available to use as the Lower Tray paper
source.
6. The printer supports the PostScript command set
with the optional PDL Cartridge and 1 MB of
additional memory. See your printer's user's guide
for details.
7. The printer supports the PostScript command set
with the optional PDL Cartridge and 2 MB of
additional memory. See your printer's user's guide
for details.
8. The printer's front panel controls the selection of
the paper source and overrides the printer driver's
selection. The printer driver selection has no
effect.
